Robert Levens Doty Jr was born on August 12, 1920. He was married to Eleanor Marion (Stites) Doty, and had children Suzanne Doty and Mark Robert Doty. Robert Doty died at age 49 years old on November 12, 1969, and was buried at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery
