Leona Smith Crandall was my husbands grandmother.
She married James Calhoun Crandall who was born 11/11/1882 in Olympia Washington. When I was in college and going with my husband, Grandma Crandall wrote me every week. She spelled her words just like they sounded but I loved each and every letter!!!!!! I ate at her home one time and her cooking was fabulous and her flower garden was beautiful.
