Medora Hebert

I am researching Himel,Hidalgo,Thibodeaux,Boudreaux. I am originally from Thibodaux, La. I am researching the Assumption Parish area in an effort to connect my grandfather to David Himel who originally came to Louisiana in 1720. My Grandfather is Pierre Himel - Middle name unknown who married Ovilia Boudreaux. He was born around 1879 according to his death date. I cannot find his mother (although St. Philomene Church states it is Mathilde Thibodeaux, but all efforts to find a Mathilde Thibodeaux married to an Ernest Himel has come to a dead end. We did find an Ursinee Thibodeaux married to an Ernest Himel and her mother is Marie Domethilde Thibodeaux. Have not been able to find any records of a Pierre Himel being born to a Mathilde or an Ursinee. Pierre died in 1935 and state death certificates states mother unknown. Any help or pitures would be appreciated.
