Class Play in Jersey City, NJ
Class Play in Jersey City, NJ
This photo belonged to my grandmother, Beatrice Agnes Reynolds Shields, and shows a class play in Jersey City, NJ. The clothing suggests that it was taken circa the 1920s. Presumably at least one child in the photo comes from my grandmother's or grandfather's family, making them a Shields or Reynolds. These branches of my family were strongly Irish Catholic, in case that provides a clue.

I would love to know the identity of any of the children in the photo -- or the school, the play, or any other details surrounding the event.

2020 marks 20 years since the inception of AncientFaces. We are the same team who began this community so long ago. Over the years it feels, at least to us, that our family has expanded to include so many. Thank you!
