Mike Sekanic of Slingerlands, Albany County, NY was born on October 15, 1920 to Anna Sekanic and Nicholas Sekanic. He had siblings Mitch Sekanic and John Sekanic. Mike Sekanic died at age 72 years old on April 8, 1993.

She was not BORN into the Van Wie family as Ancient Faces has falsely stated. Her maiden name was Hoffman and she married Warren Hoffman who left her weeks after the marriage like a coward. She was never able to marry her one true (Mike Sekanic) love because she could not find Warren to divorce him. Later in life, she found out he was REMARRIED illegally and living in California.
