Barry's father was Alfred Thomas Rhodes. His mother was Annie Parker
Barry married Adelaide D Haas on June 23 1950 in Hempstead NY.
In the 1940 federal census, Barry was living with his parents, Alfred and Anna (sic) and siblings Peter (19) and Fay (9) in Hempstead, Nassau, New York. He had completed high school. Both of his parents had been born in England - all 3 children were born in NY
(However, a 1925 ship record stated that Annie, Barry, and Peter arrived in NY on the ship Samaria from the UK - but Barry, 4 yrs old, had been born in the US)
On his WW2 registration card he was living in Baldwin, Nassau, NY and working at Liberty Aircraft Products Corps and his next of kin was Nancy Rhodes, living at his address. He was 5'8" , 140 lbs, had a light complexion, brown hair, and brown eyes.

2020 marks 20 years since the inception of AncientFaces. We are the same team who began this community so long ago. Over the years it feels, at least to us, that our family has expanded to include so many. Thank you!
