Alta was a Loving soul. She adored all of her grandchildren and great Grandchildren. My fondest memories of Grandma was during Christmas time. throughout the year she would order stuff from Finger hut and Every time they sent her a free gift she would stash them away . then on Christmas eve she would sort through the free items and put them in big black garbage bags with each of the grand kids names. Grandmas garbage bag was the first thing I would open on Christmas morning. Knowing it would be filled with jewelry and other goodies.
