This is my grandmother on my dads's side. The only thing that I can remember is about a week before she passed away. We came over to go see her, and there was this frail woman lying in bed and she was coughing a lot. I think her hair was white with light brown streaks, maybe more white than brown, and then she died.
I remember my grandfather very fondly. When my dad would go over to his parents house to pick vegetables out of their garden, then he would leave us (my sister) with his fathe. He would give us cookies and we would play games.
Darius B Smith is my grandmother.
Ervin Smith of Stephenville, Erath County, Texas was born on September 3, 1906 at Warren, Tennessee in McMinnville, Warren County, Tennessee United States, and died at age 72 years old on November 28, 1978 in Mineral Wells, Palo Pinto County, TX. Ervin Smith was buried circa November 30, 1978 at West End Cemetery in Stephenville, Erath County.
