Nelta Hobbs Poole

James served in WW1at an early age. He was son of James R Hobbs and Theodoshia Allison Hobbs. The family lived in Newcastle Tx in the 1900. He was listed as a horse trainer and farmer. He was married to Callie Mae Railsback Hobbs in 1918, she passed awy in 1953 due to complications from a stroke. There were several siblings in the Hobbs family. James and Callie had 4 children, Rosie, Buddy, Joe Lee and Nelta of which Nelta is s\the only surviving child, several grandchildren,great great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. James was a hard kind worker and provided for his family. He passed away Sept 28,1987.

James Randolph Hobbs Jr. of Newcastle, Young County, Texas United States was born on August 28, 1861, and died at age 86 years old on February 14, 1948 in Newcastle. James Hobbs was buried in February 1948 in Newcastle.
