Saidai Khan of Maneri Bala, Swabi County, N.W.F.P Pakistan was born in Maneri Bala, and died in Maneri Bala.
Sowar/trooper Ghulam Jan Khan originally belonged to Haripur area, NWFP, British India, but after marrying a woman from Swabi area shifted there. He was basically a trooper in a cavalry unit the 11th Cavalry (old 21 PAVO Cavalry FF) but later on, at the outbreak of World War 1, volunteered to move to another cavalry unit going for service abroad and was thus deputed to the 38th Central Indian Horse. He saw action on the Western Front (Europe) and died at the Somme, in December 1917. RIP
