I enjoyed a loving childhood with my parents and four siblings. My father was an aerospace engineer and my mother was a teacher. I found the love of my life, Guy, when we met at my brother John's wedding. Guy encouraged my interest in college teaching. We had four wonderful children: Victoria, William, Edward, and Arthur. The children and I helped ease Guy's passing from pancreatic cancer.
