Lloyd E Bancroft in France during WWI, Bakery Division
Dad was in the Bakery Devision while in the Army and he also was the personal driver for one of the generals. He continued on as a Baker and Chef during his life time, working for others plus having his own restaurants "The New England Cupboard" in So Calif. during 1950-70's. b 1894 - d 1991
Two More Straitiff Generations
During the folk's 50th anniversary, we added two more generations to our family. Left to right; Mary, daughter of Patty and her young daughter, Sarah, then Patty and her Mum, Catherine, better known as Kay. Both mum and dad, Kay and Lloyd Bancroft, wore their original wedding clothes at the ceremony. Kay's bouquet was an exact copy of her original one. They were married in the Boston Home Garderns, in front of 16,000 people as dad won a contest by the Boston Globe Newspaper.

My Dad, Lloyd E Bancroft, is directly behind the young boy who is sitting on the ground directly in the middle of the photo. There were 108 men in Camp St Agdon, Bakery Co #337.
