2020 marks 20 years since the inception of AncientFaces. We are the same team who began this community so long ago. Over the years it feels, at least to us, that our family has expanded to include so many. Thank you!
Maurice Azoulay was born in Morocco and raised in France. He later moved to California, United States, and became a naturalized citizen in November of 1979. In 1977, he had married Italian artist Carla Cambiaghi, and they had a son together. Maurice embarked on a career as a hairdresser at the Beverly Hills Hotel, subsequently establishing his own salons. He initially founded Maurice Andre on Little Santa Monica Blvd and later entered a partnership with renowned celebrity hairdresser Jose Eber, resulting in the establishment of the popular salon Maurice Jose. In his final venture, he owned the Maurice Azoulay salon located in Beverly Hills, positioned between Spaulding and Linden Drive.
