2020 marks 20 years since the inception of AncientFaces. We are the same team who began this community so long ago. Over the years it feels, at least to us, that our family has expanded to include so many. Thank you!

Art Prickett was a Native Californian who loved The Golden State, and had traveled most, if not all, of California's backroads and major highways. Art was beloved by his students during his years as a school teacher. One of his most memorable jobs was at San Fernando Valley Christian School in Glendale, CA. during the late-1960's and early 70's. There he taught the junior high grade levels, and his students LOVED him. He was one of those great teachers they make movies about. In fact, this writer is one of those very former students. My name is Pony Horton. Art was my Godfather as well as my teacher back then, and lifelong traveling buddy. Art was well-known for his zany sense of humor and his ability to make up a song on the spot, about anything, and usually a parody at that. Art loved movies, especially science fiction, horror, and Disney films. He was a die hard STAR TREK fan. The picture in his bio shows Art and this writer on the Bridge of the Starship Enterprise, Art is at the Navigation Console up front.
