Rachel Hernandez-Jones

I met Nicole in 2001 wen she was just a teenager at the age of 15. She loved her cat Sassy and her dog Baby. She had a very close relationship with her grandmother and whenever she stayed over my house when I looked after her, she had to bring bags of stuffed animals to sleep with. As she got older and became an adult she looked for love in all the wrong places but her heart was good and she loved with everything she had. Out of that came her first daughter Lisa born in January 2004, and the her son Julian in September of 2005. During her pregnancy with her son is when the doctors discovered that the illness that had been plaguing Nicole for months was bad news. Her prognosis was good and she delivered her son via c-section but by June of 2006 she pretty much had given up all in the name of love and being rejected. Her health declined rapidly. She was so young and didn't have alot of emotional support from her mother which I believe contributed to Nicoles depression, but she had many friends who loved her unconditionally. On November 2,nd Nicole had gone into respitory distress where she was then put on life support. On November 4th she had taken her leave of this world. She was buried with her beloved stuffed animals., pictures of her children and her favorite necklace that was a gift from her grandmother. It was a replica of rthe Heart of the Ocean Necklace from Titanic. I miss my friend and think of her often. The facts that they had for her on this page were not right and I had to make sure that the Nicole I knew was known to the world.
