William Frank Stein
Son of Ernest Henry Stein b.1864 in Saxony Germany & Katharine Mayer b.1868 in Bavaria. William was born Aug. 30, 1901 in Portland, Oregon. Married Helen Clarissa Hayes in 1924. Died April 1, 1954 in Portland. Worked as owner of Stein's Bakery.

The children of Joseph & Mary Schachtner
Lived in Beaver Dam Wisc & Carroll Co. Iowa. I will list the names, but I cannot name who's who. They are...John J. Allen(adopted), Albert, Mary, Alois, George, Arthur, Frank, Rose Marie (my gmother), Joseph, & Florence.

Clarissa Babcock was born October 6, 1826 in North Fredericksburgh Township, Ontario, Canada. She married William Fletcher Hayes, and died Nov 4. 1912 in Napanee, Ontario, Canada

Rose Schachtner, born Aug 31, 1899 in Carroll County Iowa, Married Raymond Donald Bartley in Fort Dodge Iowa in 1923, and died July 18, 1958 in Portland Oregon. Daughter of Joseph & Mary Schachtner.

Robert W. Davidson was born Jan. 21 1841 in Thompsonville, Conn. Married Helen V. Jones of Wyoming County New York in 1871. Was a Civil War veteran. Lived near Minot North Dakota. He died on Sept. 26, 1907 in Oneil, Oregon.

Son of Gottlieb Stein b.1833 in Germany & Matilda Pfefferkorn b.1835. Ernest was born in 1864 in Saxony, came to the USA in the 1880's. Married Katherine Mayer. Died Feb 27 1914 in Portland Oregon. Worked as a builder/carpenter.
William Fletcher Hayes
Son of James Hayes b.1787 in England & Rachael Isabel McDonald b.1797 in England. William was born May 25, 1821 in North Fredericksburgh Township, Ontario, Canada. Married Clarissa Babcock. Died December 11, 1914 in Napanee Ontario.
