John Edward Peterson of Ballarat Australia was born in 1852 in Qcliff to Charlotte Peirce Peterson. He had siblings William Thomas Peterson, Thomas Peterson, William Thomas Peterson, Mary Maria Peterson, Frances Jane Peterson, Henry Peterson, Harriet Peterson, and Alfred Peterson. John Peterson died at age 89 years old on February 13, 1942 in Geelong, VIC, and was buried on February 16, 1942 at Geelong Eastern Cementery in Geelong.
