I am a Bryson family researcher, who has been trying for years to find out where in Ballymena, Ireland my Brysons came from and to find out their parents names. I am descended from James Bryson settled in Musquodoboit, Nova Scotia and Eliza Whidden of Truro, Nova Scotia.

L. W. Bryson of Hilden, Nova Scotia Canada. (This may be Lyle who enlisted when he was 18 years old, son of McCully Bryson and Lydia Whidden in my Robert Bryson line of Nova Scotia. According to Jennie Reids book, "Lyle enlisted on his 18th birthday and was killed at Vimy Ridge, France on Apr. 9,1917.") I am not sure if this picture is one in the same, but I can tell you that L. W. Bryson looks just like my father and one of my nephews.
After further research, this is indeed Lyle Whidden Bryson, and was a distant cousin/ancestor of mine.

Robert Stanley Bryson of Westminster, Worcester County, MA was born on December 26, 1934 in Boston, Suffolk County, and died at age 64 years old on June 23, 1999 in Virginia Beach, VA.
