Tom was a Wagoneer in the 9th Expeditionary Force in France. He was gassed which caused him much sickness the rest of his life.

John was inducted in the Army 27 Aug 1918. He was on a ship ready to sail for the front which was quarantined for measles. By the time the quarantine was lifted the War was over.
