2020 marks 20 years since the inception of AncientFaces. We are the same team who began this community so long ago. Over the years it feels, at least to us, that our family has expanded to include so many. Thank you!

Jack was a land surveyor in Key West, Florida, for many years with his partner, Joe Trice. Their office was at 1204 Simonton Street, in a two-story "eyebrow" style house. They originally lived upstairs, but moved in the 1970s into one of Key West's first compounds, sharing a cluster of poolside houses with a famous playwright, artists, and other local characters.
He was a no-nonsense guy on the job, but loved a good story, bad jokes, and had a loud, infectious laugh that could be heard all the way down the bar at happy hour.
I do miss him.
