World War II Navy Vet. Started working as a lineman for South Central Bell and worked his way up to Plant Manager for Bell South, then worked for AT&T until his retirement in 1985. He was survived by his wife Verbie Ann Franklin Elliott, 2 sons James Michael Elliott of Jackson, MS and Bruce Allen Elliott of Dallas, TX. 2 daughter Deborah Ann Elliott Withers of Woodville, MS and Rosemary Elliott Hooper of Natchez, MS
