Joycelyn Arvie of Ville Platte, Evangeline County, LA was born on April 24, 1933 to Hosea Arvie and Una(allison) Arvie. She had siblings Thersa (Arvie) Pinkard, Harry Arvie, and Gene Antry Arvie. She was in a relationship with Gibert Harry Lafleur, and had children Sandra (Arvie) Lafleur, Una Ray Arvie, Mary Joyce Ann Arvie, Charlotte (Arvie)harris, and Ernest Roberts Jr.. Joycelyn Arvie died at age 69 years old on October 30, 2002.
