They had children Gregory John Gant and Tara Kimberly Gant. He would also marry Fran Selenica in 1978 in Toms River, Ocean County, New Jersey United States and they later divorced in 1983. They had a child Jason Gant. John Gant died at age 69 years old on January 8, 2011, and was buried in January 2011 at Creamation in Madison, Fl.
