Leon S. Tanner
Leon S. Tanner, my grandfather's brother. He was a rodeo cowboy.
Here is what was remembered by a cousin of his: I have to tell you that your mothers Uncle Leon, use to stay at our house, or my grandmother Sadie house, maybe every couple of month for a week or two when he was in town. He showed me how to rope things. I bet I could not do it now. He was big on rodeo's. Do you know that he got his stomach, ripped apart by a bull horns in one of these rodeo's and almost was killed way back then.
