I am the eldest daughter of his oldest son, Nollie Norman Connel. I have one sister, Doris Elaine Connel Henderson. Grandpa Connel came to visit us when we were very little girls as we lived in southern California and he lived in Texas. When I was 13 years old, our family took a trip to visit Grandpa Connel in Texas. At the time he was married to a wonderful woman named, Sadie. They lived on a small farm in the country and Sadie was a good cook. There were many animals there. We also visited our Aunt Violet and Aunt Coquese, both of whom were Aubrey's daughters.
