Asa James Scarbrough Jan 22, 1928 - Oct 19, 2002 El Monte, California

I just learned of his death in 2008. He had a brother (David Roy Scarbrough BD1939, a step brother (Marshal G. Tucker) BD 1939 and a sister. (?) I remember a tall man with dark curtly hair, a taste for beer and cigarettes. He was at sea much of the time. He was greatly troubled by his service in Korea as a battlefield medic to marines. He earned a Purple Heart and was a career Navy man.
