Sharon Ferguson
About me:
My name is Sharon Ferguson, and I am a great-great granddaughter of Thomas Ferguson, who married my great-great Grandmother, Jane Inman Ferguson, on October 9, 1834, in Madison County, AL. She bore him two daughters, Sarah, and Nancy. Then in 1840, while she was pregnant with their twin sons, William Henry Ferguson and Thomas H. Ferguson, her husband Thomas Ferguson died. She later remarried George B. Woodruff in Madison County, AL on June 12, 1843, and they removed to Franklin County, MO. All four Ferguson children took the Woodruff name, without legal adoption. As a result, we know nothing of our ancestral Grandfather, Thomas Ferguson, and have no contact with our Ferguson cousins. If this story sounds familiar to anyone descended from a Ferguson, please contact me at [contact link]. In June 2009, I legally changed my name to Sharon J. Ferguson.
About my family:
I haven't shared details about my family.

2020 marks 20 years since the inception of AncientFaces. We are the same team who began this community so long ago. Over the years it feels, at least to us, that our family has expanded to include so many. Thank you!
