My Dad! John Austin Hart was born January 23, 1934 in Yukon, McDowell County, WV and died June 4, 2006 in Winston-Salem NC, buried in Pine Hill Cemetery, Ripley, Jackson County, WV. John was the son of William Lawrence and Barbara Bessie Gates Hart.

This is my paternal grandmother, Barbara B. Gates Hart. She is the daughter of Oliver Perry and Emily Sale Gates. She was married to William Lawrence Hart.
