2020 marks 20 years since the inception of AncientFaces. We are the same team who began this community so long ago. Over the years it feels, at least to us, that our family has expanded to include so many. Thank you!
Bryan Arthur Frost was born on June 23, 1938 to Arthur Henry Frost and Margaret Parsons, and was the parent of Susan Paterson (Nee Frost). Bryan Frost died at age 71 years old on October 30, 2009 in Dartford, Kent County, England United Kingdom. Family, friend, or fan, this family history biography is for you to remember Bryan Arthur Frost.
Arthur Henry Frost was actually born in the UK not Germany. I have changed the record to reflect this. He lived in Plumstead, London. His parents were Isabella and George and he was married to Doris (nee Parsons). He was killed in action on 15 October 1944 during Operation Hurricane. Lancaster bomber PB357 had crashed on 16 Sept 1944 but was repaired and able to return to operations. Sgt. Frost was part of a crew of 7 who took off in bomber PB357 at 23:30 from Oakington for a night raid on Duisberg. They had completed the raid and were on the return flight. They were shot down just after leaving the Ruhr somewhere between 03:20 and 03:35. There were no survivors. The crew were: F/O C N C Crawford, Sgt. A H Frost, P/O E T RIvers (Canadian), P/O T D L Mason, F/Sgt. T E Feaver, F/Sgt. N Heslop and F/Sgt R Phillips. All are now burried at Reichswald Forest War Cemetry however this was not their original resting place. My father was Arthur's son although Doris was not his natural mother. My dad was born in 1938 in Plumstead. On receiving his 'things' after his death, Doris found a letter from another woman who was pregnant with Arthur's child. I have no information as to names or nationalities of the woman or the child.
