I don't have any memories of Lucy because she died before I was born. She was born 20 January 1890 in North Melbourne Victoria and died at the Royal Melbourne Hospital 24 May 1950. She was married to Harry Dunn and had one child. She then had 8 children with John Grimes and married him afterwards on 20 January 1936.

Catherine, the daughter of Peter and Ann Pogson, came to Australia with her husband, Charles Dowsing in 1854. They had four daughters: Sarah Anne: Esther Sarah: Lucey and Angelina. Catherine died about 1860 in Rushworth Victoria. She, along with her daughters, were left destitute by Charles Dowsing. She died and so did her daughter Angelina. The three Dowsing girls were taken to the Institute in Melbourne where they remained for many years. Sarah Anne Dowsing married Henry Mealmaker Esther Sarah Dowsing married John Brown and became my grandmother's parents.
