Grand father George was a self educated, brilliant man who had a full head of white hair that we all loved. His last home on Tippecanoe Rd. in Canfield, Ohio was a beautiful place for he and Grandmother Louise. The driveway was very long and as you passed the Willow Tree up front, and drove up the drive you smiled at the serene beauty he created. The driveway went straight up to his barn type garage. Or you could bear left around the circle that lead to the front of the house which was actually or seemed like the back. In the middle of the circle were tall trees, sitting benches and a well Grandma liked because it reminded her of how she got water in Norway. There were many acres back and midway, we had a very large picnic table where the families gathered every Forth of July and other times. The Bahms, Darnells, and Rupes were all very close.
