2020 marks 20 years since the inception of AncientFaces. We are the same team who began this community so long ago. Over the years it feels, at least to us, that our family has expanded to include so many. Thank you!

Left home at 14 because of an abusive father. Later joined the army in Ft. Benning, GA. Assigned to be a cook, he did not want to be a cook but then thought he could learn to have his own restaurant one day. Met his future wife there while serving. Went on to own multiple businesses...restaurants, gas stations and a trucking company. Most success as a trucking broker in Charlotte, NC. A shortcoming of his was he could not enjoy the moment. He was always getting excited over his next idea. Which caused successful businesses to wither away. He loved his family but was too preoccupied to bond with his children other than me. I understood him...I knew he was loving but showing it meant more than a monthly weekend visit throwing out wads of cash. Can't say he was a great man, he had a hard time turning down pussy but he was my Dad and I love him.
