Aster Kermit Mullins of Weeksbury, Floyd County, KY was born on November 4, 1927 in Virgie, Pike County. He was married to Virginia "Tippy" Geraldine (Scarborough) Mullins, and had children Larry Eugene Mullins and Pricella Mullins. Aster Mullins died at age 59 years old on August 23, 1987 in Caleb Fork, Floyd County, and was buried at Tackett-Mullins Cemetery in Caleb Fork.

LIFESTORY:
Died January 22, 2007 at Bronson Hospital, from complications of Parkinsons Diseases. John (Jack) was born March 3, 1923 in Toledo, OH the son of Frank T. and Rose C. (Feil) Meeker and resided at Alterra Wynwood at the time of his death. He graduated with a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering Degree from Marquette University. He then served in the U.S. Navy from 1942 until 1945 where he served as an Electronics Officer on an aircraft carrier. Following military service, Jack received his Masters and Doctorate degrees from the University of Michigan. He was in research work at the University of Michigan for a number of years before joining Honeywell International Inc. He subsequently retired in 1995 after nineteen years, from the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, California Institute of Technology, Pasadena, CA where he specialized in communications for unmanned space flights. His parents preceded him in death. Jack is survived by a brother Thomas F. (Carol) Meeker of Texas Township, nephews; Timothy (Deborah) Meeker of Mattawan, James (Kerri) Meeker of Byron Center and niece Lori (Tom) Acton of Three Rivers; Also his loving nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Thursday, January 25, from 10 until 10:30 AM at St. Catherine of Siena Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM. Father Kevin Covert Celebrant. Burial will be in Fort Custer National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation. Arrangements by REDMOND Funeral Home 4100 S. Westnedge - 343-6156.
