Thomas Ross
About me:
Hi, I am researching the Felder surname. My mother was a Felder, Marian Felder, born in Sumpter, S.C. in 1916. She passed away in 1981 in Detroit, Michigan. My grandfather, samuel felder, Jr moved to philadelphia, pa in 916, three months after my mother was born. Trying to locate relatives in South carolina. My grandfather vowed he would never return to South carolina and he didn't until his death in 1962. My grandfather was married to Ella Wright and they had 12 children together. My great grandfather was named Samuel Felder, as was my great, great grandfather. Seeking info on this ship merchant who sailed fromn Europe to South carolina, and began a plantation in the Sumpter area.
