2020 marks 20 years since the inception of AncientFaces. We are the same team who began this community so long ago. Over the years it feels, at least to us, that our family has expanded to include so many. Thank you!

Florence Kear of Ossining, Westchester County, NY was born on May 26, 1902, and died at age 70 years old in February 1973.

John H Kear was my grandfather and was married to Agnes (Wilson) Kear. John and Agnes raised Me Timothy and my sister Debbie (Deborah) Kear until 1972 ages 10 and sister 12. John and Agnes had 4 children Jean, John, Nancy and Robert. My sister and I are the child of Robert, youngest son of John and Agnes. John Built his own house with his own hands. He always had a big garden that he worked with a Gravely tractor. John called my Grandmother "Nan" John was a quite man and did not express his feelings ever, nor did he show them. I never saw him give my grandmother a kiss in 22 years but it was always clear that he loved his wife and family without a doubt. John Kear worked hard all the time. Towards the end of his life he loved to go fishing. In his final years his daughter Nancy and Son-in law John White took care of him and my grandmother.
