About me:
I'm researching the 196th Signal Photo Company's service in Italy 1944-45 towards publishing the posthumous wartime memoir of Edmund Burke O'Connell, a motion picture photgrapher who served with the 196th. O'Connell met, fell in love with and returned after the war to Florence Italy to live in a 15th century Medici villa while continuing in federal service. Know something about the 196th or have a collection of photos to share. So do I. Tom Sullivan, Pacifica, California.
