Family, friend, or fan, this family history biography is for you to remember Maude (Walter) Jannaway.


William Married my Grandmother Maude Walter on Christmas day 1915 at a church in Bath Road Hounslow Middle sex UK to give my mother Florence Walter a name he then went off to fight in France and never came back.
He was killed by a German shell at the battle of the Somme on 11th September 1916 (my mothers 2nd birthday. They never found the body he is remembered on the Thiepville Monument in France.
