Amasa Gilson
I've "rescued" an old photograph of Amasa GILSON which was taken when he was 19 years old. The photograph was given to a cousin in 1934, though it appears to have been taken in the 1880's. Based on limited research I was able to locate the following information regarding Amasa and his family:
Amasa E. GILSON was b. in Tidioute, PA in 1868 to parents Gideon Badger GILSON (1828-1903) and Harriet McWangton YOUNG (1838-1904). Amasa had a sister, Lillian Patience GILSON (1871-1891). Amasa married Elnora Mabel GILSON (1872-1930) and he died 16 May 1936 in Pennsylvania and is buried in the Tidioute Cemetery in Tidioute, PA.
