John Wesley Moseley Jr , Kentucky 1936 article
John Wesley Moseley Jr in Whitesville Kentucky in 1936 - life article: An article published in the Evansville, Indiana Press on 11 Oct 1936 about my maternal 2nd great-grandfather; John Wesley Moseley Jr as Daviess County Kentucky's Last Civil War Veteran.
It talks about the hardships of living to be 100 years old, spending time as a prisoner of war in a Union Prison Camp at Rock Island, Illinois for 18 months, his commanding officers and then returning home to his wife and his children who grew up without knowing him and were scared of this strange man that had come into their home.
