My parents are standing in the bed of this overloaded truck for a day's outing to the present day Kentucky Lake area of western Kentucky, in 1933. They were teens and married in 1935.
Daniel Lilburn & Pearl Shahan
Lilburn Shahan married Pearl (Vinson) Carner in Crittenden Co., Ky in 1926. He was the son of David Daniel Shahan and Mary Alice Ausenbaugh. Pearl was the daughter of Joshua Thomas Vinson and Mary Ann Franks of Caldwell Co., Ky. They lived near Marion, KY. and are buried near Fredonia, Ky. They are my paternal grandparents. Unknown date of photo.
