William Sidney Porter
This is the gravesite of William Sidney Porter, the author of 'Look Homeward Angel" who was originally from Asheville, NC. There are a good many 'famous' people buried in this cemetery, altho most are 'local hero's.

A photo of Luther Mason; b.6-19-1848 d.9-8-1933. He was the son of John Lorenza and Jane Quinton Mason, of Spartanburg, SC. He was married to Lucinda Luther, daughter of Hamilton and Elizabeth Joyce of Pole Creek, NC. He is buried at Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Candler, NC.
