Fidius D. Stocking the son of Jared and Lucy Bigelow Stocking on 25 December 1825 in Pontiac, Oakland County, Michigan and died 8 January 1895 Lowell Township, Kent County, Michigan. He was Nicknamed Fid Stocking because of exceptional skill with the Fiddle.
