She married John Campbell Phillips. She would also marry Gilbert Leslie Hine, and they had children Faith G. Hine, Marie Hine, and Sherri Hine. Esther Phillips died at age 65 years old on March 22, 1992, and was buried in March 1922 at Elimsport Cemetery in Elimsport.
