Loesja Iinckers (or Imckers), Holland
This picture was sent to my father, Roger Kane, who had been a soldier in Holland during WWII. He and a squad mate, Leonard Judkins from Maine, helped deliver a baby near Falkenburg Holland during the war. I believe this is a picture of that baby sent to him a few years later.

I believe this my be a baby girl my father helped deliver in WWII. Does anyone know her or any of her relatives?
Date & Place: in Falkenburg, Holland Netherlands

A US soldier in WW2 Holland helped deliver a baby. It's believed that this little girl was that baby - Loesje Pinckers - in 1948? That's a great smile! :)
Must be Loes(je) Pinckers. Born in 1937 -died in 2013.

I want to build a place where my son can meet his great-grandparents. My grandmother Marian Joyce (Benning) Kroetch always wanted to meet her great-grandchildren, but she died just a handful of years before my son's birth. So while she didn't have the opportunity to meet him, at least he will be able to know her. For more information about what we're building see About AncientFaces. My father's side is full blood Sicilian and my mother's side is a combination of Welsh, Scottish, German and a few other European cultures. One of my more colorful (ahem black sheep) family members came over on the Mayflower. He was among the first to be hanged in the New World for a criminal offense he made while onboard the ship.
