Nan Grey, born Eschal Loleet Grey Miller, was born to Edward J. Miller (1900 - 1974) and Violet Dolores Ross 91904 - 1986). Nan was married two times: She first married Jack Gordon Westrop (1918 - 1958), a Hall of Fame jockey, in 1939, and they had two daughters, Pam and Jan. After they divorced, she married singer Frankie Laine (1913 - 2007) in 1950 and he adopted her two daughters from her marriage to Jack. Married for 43 years, the union ended when she died on her birthday in 1993 at age 75. Nan Grey was her stage name. Discovered when she visited Los Angeles with her mother, her first film was in 1934 at Warner Brothers. Later, she became a "B" movie actress who worked for Universal studios. She also performed in radio, a popular media at the time, and briefly on stage. She died on her birthday at age 75, having lived a long and good life.
