President Grover Cleveland
Stephen Grover Cleveland (March 18, 1837 – June 24, 1908) was the 22nd and 24th President of the United States.

President Cleveland is well known for making Labor Day a National holiday in response to the Pullman strike where over 125,000 workers went on strike and the federal government's response was to send in the military to end the strike, resulting in the deaths of 30 workers.

Just a few short days later, President Cleveland signed a bill that made Labor Day a national holiday to appease workers.

Stephen Grover Cleveland
Stephen Grover Cleveland was the 22nd and 24th President of the United States and is the only president to serve two non-consecutive terms. He was born on March 18, 1837, in Caldwell, New Jersey, to Richard Falley Cleveland and Ann Neal Cleveland. Richard Cleveland, his father, was a Presbyterian minister and his mother, Ann, was the daughter of a publisher. Stephen was one of nine children in the family, with five sisters and three brothers. Cleveland had a modest upbringing and spent his early years in upstate New York. Despite not having a formal education, he was a voracious reader and self-educated. Throughout his life, Cleveland was known for his honesty and commitment to public service, serving as a sheriff, mayor, governor, and ultimately, president of the United States.
