This beautiful presidential state car was provided to President Warren G. Harding when he took office at the White House as the 29th President of the United States. Warren G. Harding's term ran from March 4th, 1921 through August 2nd, 1923 when he died of a heart attack and Vice President Calvin Coolidge became president. According to the caption, this presidential state car cost $9000 in 1921, or approximately $110,000 in 2012 taking into account inflation.

The presidential state car is used by the President of the United States, and since the 1930's has been specially commissioned to include advanced security and communication technologies. It is estimated that current presidential state cars cost approximately $300,000.
