Sugar Rationing WW2
Miriam Clark, wife of Bennett Champ Clark, a US Senator from Missouri, learns how to sign up for sugar ration coupons at Western High School, Washington, D.C. Americans signed up for sugar ration coupons from May 4th through May 7th, 1942.
Uniform coupon rationing (sugar is an example) provided equal shares of a single commodity to all consumers. Sugar was rationed from 1942 to 1946 or 1947.
