Isabelle Mudd Besides dairy farming and sheep, there was a wide variety of animals on our farm. Dad raised pigs, chickens, goats, and turkeys. We even had guinea hens sometimes and I raised some white pekin ducks in 1937-38.

Isabelle Mudd We also had a sugar bush and my dad took great pride in his fancy maple syrup. One year during the depression the market was so bad that he sold it from door to door for $2 a gallon.
