Mother of Los Gatan dies
Funeral services for Rose Doudell, 82, of San Jose, mother of Mrs. Roberta Lamy of Los Gatos, will be held Thursday at 8:30 a.m. from the Lima, Salmon and Erickson Cathedral Chapel. Mrs. Doudell, wife of the late John Doudell, died Monday in San Jose.

Doudell Pleads He's Innocent
San Francisco, (U.P) - John W. Doudell, San Jose trucker, pleaded innocent to charge of concealing assets of Victor P Suglio during Suglio's 1949 bankruptcy proceedings.
Doudell was indicted on charges of receiving a truck and truck supplies from Suglio, San Jose trucker, and not revealing it to the trustee of the estate.
Suglio is now in McNeil Island penitentiary serving a three year sentence for bankruptcy fraud. Doudell's trial date was set for Sept. 3 by Federal Judge George B. Harris. Doudell faces a maximum of 15 years in prison and a $15,000 fine.

Byre McSweeney, president of San Jose Division 1 of Hibernians, and Mrs. Margaret Dowdall Kunde of Ladies Auxiliary are co-chairmen for this event.
Aiding them are Patrick T. Concannon, William R. Christy, Mrs. Peter Guerin, and Mrs. Edgar Schott. West Valley Hibernians are Mr. and Mrs. Chester Bigelow, Mesdames E. E. Tabscott, Patrick Coffey, Mary Costello, Miss Charlotte O'Neill, and Messrs. Al A. Dempsey, Thomas R. O'Day, Vincent Sheridan, Edward Bean, Louis Della Valle, Thomas Gavin, Michael Leary, John and James Kilkenny, Patrick Peabody, Gerald Graham, Manley McCullough, and Milton Mitchell.
